The Healing Power of Word of God

We live in a time and space dimension. It is the universe. The space is relative. What is beyond universe is unknown. Is it the abode of God. We are not aware of what is beyond the or outside our Universe. But humans feel there is power beyond or outside universe which has great authority over the universe.

Humanism is limited to earth or may be to universe beyond if man can habitable worlds in this universe or may be in other dimensions beyond our universe. But the earth is not the final abode of the soul or the spiritual part of man. The soul or the spiritual part of man has great power which depends on the spirituality of man.

The spirituality of man is derived or powered by the Word of God. TheWord or 2nd Person of Divinity or Jesus Christ. This is what Apostle John says in Chapter 1:1) in his Gospel. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life and that life was light of man....." (John 1:1-4)

Therefore it is very logical to say that Word of God has power to Heal the full man. Not only the Soul but also the physical body as well. There are hundreds of words in the Bible to prove that there is healing power in the word of Loving God. If I am allowed to quote one He is sending you His Word. 'He sent forth his word and healed them (Psalm 107:20) God has sent His Word to you this day. 'Gods Word is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and the spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart' (Hebrews 4:12).

Apostles Healing Sick after the Ascension of Jesus

Acts 5:16 "Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed."

Even after Jesus had been crucified, raised back to life again and ascended into heaven, we see the very same work that Jesus performed, while on the earth, still taking place through the hands of His disciples, and with the very same intensity - all being healed. And why not? Hebrews 13:8 tells us that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!"

2 Corinthians 5:21 tell us plainly that as born-again believer's we have become the righteousness of God in Christ. Because of the forgiveness of sins, through His shed blood, we are redeemed and declared righteous from ALL THINGS which we could not be declared righteous, apart from His redemptive work. This is our position in Christ and it's more than just spiritual. The effects of this right-standing or righteousness pertain to the soul, the body and our life here on this earth.

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal (Natural, Earthly) bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:11 Note - Take a close look at this Scripture. This is talking about your body that you have now, not the one you are going to receive one day in heaven. Notice that the will of the Lord is to impart His resurrected life into our natural, earthly bodies as we place our faith in His finished work salvation on the cross. Begin to praise Him for this promise as you receive this as your very own.

God in Heaven and Sick living on Earth

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:9-10 NOTE - Jesus always prays the will of God, and He prays that the will of God be done here on the earth just as it is in heaven. People in heaven are not sick, so we can clearly see it is God's will that we also be free from sickness and disease.

What does the Old Testament Say about Healing

Deuteronomy 7:15 "And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you." NOTE - If this was a promise to God's covenant people under the Old Covenant, how much more does this benefit of health pertain to us today; as we are under the New Covenant which is based upon the precious Blood of Jesus Christ!

Faith and Agreement on Prayers will Heal

Psalm 103:2-3 "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all thy diseases" NOTE - Notice it doesn't say some, it says all! It also states that healing is one of the benefits that belong to the believer along with the benefit of having our sin forgiven.

Devotees pray together for the sick people and experienced actual healing. The prayer of agreement is powerful have someone agree with you for your healing!Matthew 18:19 'Again I say to you that if two of you agree on Earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.'
